Schwarzenegger began lifting weights at the young age of 15. Later, he won the Mr. Universe title at age 20. He also wrote many books and articles on the sport. Career
For his filming career, Schwarzenegger gained widespread fame as a Hollywood action film icon. The sword-and-sorcery epic Conan the Barbarian became his breakthrough film in 1982. The movie became a box-office hit and released a sequel. He appeared in the title role of the science-fiction thriller film The Terminator in 1984. Furthermore, he also played similar roles in the sequels of The Terminator. He played in many successful movies like Commando (1985), The Running Man (1987), Twins (1988), Total Recall (1990), Predator (1987), Kindergarten Cop (1990), and True Lies (1994).
Schwarzenegger was first elected on the 7th of October, 2003 as a leader. He swore his vows on the 17th of November to serve Davis’ remaining term by a recall election. Furthermore, he re-elected in the 2006 California gubernatorial election and became the mayor serving till his date. He completed his second term as governor and returned to acting in 2011.

He was born on the 30th of July, 1947 in Thal, Styria, Austria. Schwarzenegger married Maria Shriver in Hyannis, Massachusetts on the 26th of April, 1986. They have four children together. The family attended St. Monica’s Catholic Church. Shriver and Schwarzenegger ended their relationship after 25 years of marriage on the 9th of May, 2011. Shriver moved out of the couple’s Brentwood mansion. The Los Angeles Times revealed that Schwarzenegger fathered a son more than 14 years earlier with an employee in their household on the 16th of May, 2011.
