Wladimir was born on the 25th of March, 1976 in Semipalatinsk, Kazakh SSR, Soviet Union. He is the son of Vladimir Rodionovic Klitschko and Nadezhda Ulyanovna. His father was a Soviet Air Force major general in Germany. Furthermore, he has an older brother named Vitali Klitschko, who used to be a heavyweight champion and is now a Mayor of Kyiv. Wladimir is in an on-and-off relationship with Hayden Panettiere, an American actress. The couple has one daughter together.
