Chloe was born on February 10, 1997, in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. She is currently 23 years old. She is the daughter of McCoy Moretz and Teri Duke. McCoy is a plastic surgeon whereas Teri is a nurse practitioner. Chloe grew up in Cartersville, Georgia. She has four older brothers named Brandon, Trevor, Colin and Ethan.
Early Life
In 2002, Chloe along with her mother and brother, Trevor moved to New York because he got accepted into an acting school. She got intrigued by the concept of acting and performance. She helped her brother read his lines and in turn, she gave her a few tips on how to act. This was the spark of interest in acting that led her to audition for movies at the age of seven.
Career
Moretz appeared in two episodes of the television series “The Guardian” in 2004 and earned her first film role in the film “Heart of the Beholder” in 2005. Then, she bagged another one in the film “The Amityville Horror” the same year. After playing small roles in several other films, she appeared as the Hit-Girl in the action film “Kick-Ass” in 2010. Eventually, in 2011, she starred the role of Little Anne Sliger in the crime film “Texas Killing Fields.”
