Atlanta Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons are an Atlanta, Georgia based professional American football. The Falcons compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the league’s National Football Conference (NFC) South division. The Falcons joined the NFL as an expansion team in 1965, after the NFL offered Rankin Smith, who was the then-owner, a franchise to keep him from joining the American Football League (AFL). The current home field of the Falcons is Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
