Louis William Tomlinson was born as Louis Troy Austin on 24 December 1991 in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England. He was born to his father Troy Austin and to mother Johannah Poulston. Louis is the youngest child among seven siblings. He was just a week old when his parents separated. His mother later married Mark Tomlinson and Louis took on his stepfather’s surname. He is currently 24 years old with Capricorn horoscope.

Louis Tomlinson auditioned for the television reality show ‘The X Factor’ in 2009 but was turned down He again attended in the auditions for the seventh season of the television reality show ‘The X Factor’ in 2010. He successfully entered the competition but eliminated before the final round. One of the judges, Nicole Scherzinger, suggested that he and four other fellow contestants named Harry, Niall, Liam, Zayn who didn’t make it to final round should collaborate and eventually they formed the band ‘One Direction.’ The popularity of this band helped them to sign contracts with two reputed labels named ‘Syco Records’ and ‘Columbia Records.’ In 2011, One Direction released its debut album ‘Up All Night’ which was well received by music lovers from across the globe. The track ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ from this album also became a chartbuster upon release. This made each boy as a youth icon.

Eventually, the band released its second album ‘Take Me Home’ in 2012. This album also became the fourth best-selling album of 2012. Their third album was ‘Midnight Memories’ in 2013 which also became very successful. It featured the super-hit singles ‘Best Song Ever’ and ‘Story of My Life’. Likewise, in 2013 their documentary concert film ‘One Direction: This Is Us’ released in 2013. The next year they released their album named ‘Four.’ The hit songs from that album were ‘Steal My Girl’ and ‘Night Changes.’  The album received positive reviews from critics and debuted at No. 1 in 18 countries. 2017-Present

After the split, Louis Tomlinson pursued his solo singing career. In July 2017, he released his solo single ‘Back to you.’ This song ranked at 8^th on the UK Singles Chart. Then in October 2017, he released a promotional single ‘Just like You.’ Likewise, his second solo released in December 2017 named ‘Miss You.’ This also peaked at number 37 on the UK Charts. The next year, he became one of the judges for the fifteen series of ‘The X Factor.’ He signed a contract with Arista Records in 2019 and launched ‘Two of Us’ song under that level in March 2019.

Similarly, he also released his single ‘Kill My Mind’ on September 2019. Louis yet released his another single ‘We Made It’ in October 2019. He then released his debut album named ‘Walls’ on 31 January 2020. The album received mixed reviews and debuted at number 4 on the UK Albums Chart and number 9 on the Billboard 200 chart. His embark on a tour for 2020 but postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic.
