Niall James Horan was born on 13 September 1993 in Mullingar, Ireland. He was born to father Bobby Horan and to mother Maura Gallagher. He also has an older brother named Greg Horan. Niall Horan attended in the auditions for the seventh season of the television reality show ‘The X Factor’ in 2010. He became eliminated because he could not impress the judges. One of the judges, Nicole Scherzinger, suggested that he and four other fellow contestants named Harry, Louis, Liam, Zayn who didn’t make it to final round should collaborate and eventually they formed the band ‘One Direction.’ The popularity of this band helped them to sign contracts with two reputed labels named ‘Syco Records’ and ‘Columbia Records’. In 2011, One Direction released its debut album ‘Up All Night’ which was well received by music lovers from across the globe. The track ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ from this album also became a chartbuster upon release.
Eventually, the band released several albums among which ‘Take Me Home’ and ‘Midnight Memories’ became very successful. Likewise, in 2013 their documentary concert film ‘One Direction: This Is Us’ released in 2013. One Direction’s last album released in 2015 and this band went on indefinite break-in early 2016.
2016-Present
Niall Horan then signed with ‘Capitol Records’ where he has a solo recording contract.
