Mia Swier, born in 1985, is an American social media personality. She was born in her hometown The United States of America. Career
Mia has produced/directed promotional content and campaigns for series launches and in-season content, as a Los Angeles-based writer/producer at Fox Networks. She has done work in many series like Glee, Scream Queens, Gracepoint, The Mindy Project, Raising Hope, New Hope, and The Following.
Besides, as a freelancer Director, she has directed several short music videos and films, which include Keke Palmer’s debut single for Island Records “I Don’t Belong to You”. Moreover, Mia was a producer at Showtime Network for promotional content of the series/theatricals including Dexter, Homeland, Californication, House of Lies, United States of Tara, Weeds, The Borgias, Nurse Jackie, The Green Room, Web Therapy, The Twilight Saga, Gigolos, The Franchise and other various series and documents.
Mia, when she attended New York University’s Steinhardt School of Media Studies and Television Production, she got to work at several networks that included ABC, NBC and USA Network. In 2009, Mia started a Film Production Company called Effin media, with co-founder Dan Bricker. This production, a couple of films went to the festival including co-written and self-directed film “A(Not So) Civil Union,” a short mockumentary about the first legalized lesbian wedding, and Somewhere Between, an English/German short psycho-thriller she produced with director Finn Pfeffer. At the Tribeca Film Festival, she has worked as a volunteer.
On the other side, Mia is a bassist and vocalist in Guns n’ Hoses. She is a rock and roll bassist/ vocalist. In 2009, she started the alt-punk garage rock band Shoot the Freak with Garrett Cillo, Alberto Duhau and Devson Johnson. When this band broke up in early 2012, she started Guns n; Hoses, an all-girl GNR tribute band with Emmy Wildwood, Erin Marsz, Charlene Kaye and Gina Ilasi. There she worked amazingly as a lead vocalist in the rock band Mad Moon Riot until March 2015. His bandmates were Matt Hitchens, Ru Hazell, and Pou Piam.
Talking about her personal life, on February 16, 2019, Mia has married her boyfriend Darren Criss in New Orleans. They also got engaged in January 2018. She has shared her love between them in her Instagram account. They were in a romantic relationship for more than 8 years.
