N’Keal was born in Toronto, Canada, but moved to St. Vincent and the Grenadines. He lived with his grandmother in the Phoenix metro area. N’Keal tried several sports as a kid but liked football the most. He used to play football, soccer, and basketball as a kid. Although his grandmother wanted him to choose a less dangerous sport, she agreed to let him select football anyway. He attended Marcos de Niza High School in Tempe but later transferred to Chandler High School, where he played high school football. He attended Arizona State University and played football there too.
Career
Various colleges like Texas A&M, Oregon, and USC tried to recruit N’Keal for their football program. However, he chose to commit to Arizona State University. He started the 2016 opening game against Northern Arizona University. N’Keal is the ninth true freshman to start a season opener in the school’s history. He posted 58 catches for 659 yards and five touchdowns in his freshman season. Furthermore, he additionally ran for 69 yards and scored twice and completed a 46-yard pass of his own.
