Scott Foley, an American actor, started off his career in the entertainment field from 1995 to date. Along with acting, he also ventured in directing and screenwriting and is one of the successful directors. Since he had an interest in acting from an early age, he decided to pursue his career in this industry. He is famous for his roles in different films and series like ‘The Unit,’ ‘Scrubs,’ ‘Felicity,’ ‘Scream3,’ ‘Stealing Time’, and many more. He made his directional debut in 2013 film ‘Let’s Kill Ward’s Wife.’ He was also the scriptwriter of this film along with his wife.

Scott Foley was born as the name, Scott Kellerman Foley on July 15, 1972, in Kansas City. He was born to parents Connie and Hugh Foley, while his father was an international banker. He grew alongside his two younger siblings. Presently, he is 51 years old with a Cancer sun sign.

Scott Foley made his debut film in 2000 film ‘Scream 3’ as a negative character named Roman Bridger. In the film, he starred alongside David Arquette, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Patrick Dempsey, Emily Mortimer, Lance Henriksen, Matt Keeslar, Emily Mortimer, Parker Posey, Deon Richmond, and Patrick Warburton. Through this film, he received a nomination for Teen Choice Award. The same year he starred in a short film called ‘Self-Storage’. He then appeared in ‘Stealing Time’ in 2001 as Casey Shepard and in ‘Below’ in 2002 as Steven Coors.

Likewise, after 12 years he made his entry in the ‘Let’s Kill Ward’s Wife,’ a hidden debut directional film. He was also the producer and writer. The film stars were mostly his family members, his wife, Marika Dominczyk, his sister-in-law Dagmara Dominczyk, and brother-in-law Patrick Wilson and other stars like Donald Faison, Amy Acker, and Nicollette Sheridan. His recent film is ‘Naked’ in 2017 where he played as Cody Favors.

Scott Foley landed his small-screen role in 1995 series ‘Sweet Valley High’ as Zack. After this series it was followed by ‘Crowned and Dangerous’ and ‘Step by Step’ in 1997 and ‘Dawson’s Creek’ and ‘Forever Love’ in 1998. From 1998 to 2002, Scott was cast in the drama series ‘Felicity’ where portrayed the main character Noel Crane alongside the actress Jennifer Garner. During that time, he also appeared in two episodes of the 1999 series ‘Zoe, Duncan, Jack, and Jane.’ Likewise, he received his breakthrough role in a medial comedy series ‘Scrubs’ which ran from 2002 to 2009. He played as Sean Kelly appearing in twelve episodes. From 2010 to 2012 he featured in ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ as Henry Burton appearing in fifteen episodes. From 2011- 2012 he starred in ‘True Blood’ as Patrick Devins in ten episodes and from 2013 to 2015 he appeared in hundred episodes of ‘Scandal’ as Jake Ballard. Also, he has been starred in ‘Goldie & Bear’ in 2016, ‘Insecure’ in 2017, and in the main lead of ‘Whiskey Cavalier’ in 2019.

Scott Foley has also appeared in stage plays. He has been in the 2003 game ‘The Violet Hour’ at Biltmore Theatre and in 2005 at Atlantic Theater Company in the play ‘The Cherry Orchard.’ He has also been starred in the 2014 playwright series ‘The Country House’ at Geffen Playhouse, Westwood.

They married in a private ceremony in June 2007 in Hawaii. This couple together has three children, a daughter named Malina who was born in November 2009 and two sons, Keller Aleksander and Konrad who were born on April 17, 2012, and on November 13, 2014, respectively.
