Stephen Curry

Who is Stephen Curry?

Stephen Curry is a professional American basketball player. He plays for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Furthermore, he is a six-time NBA All-Star.

Early Life

Stephen is the son of Sonya and Dell Curry. His father was a member of Cleveland Cavaliers. He grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. Furthermore, his father spent most of his NBA career with the Charlotte Hornets. The kids would shoot with the Hornets during warm-ups. Later, the family relocated to Toronto. Here, Dell finished out his career as a member of the Raptors. Curry played for the Queensway Christian College boys basketball team during that time. Furthermore, he leads them to an undefeated season.

Furthermore, Curry was named all-conference, all-state. Also, he led his team to three conference titles as well as three state playoff appearances. Later, he attended Davidson College and studies till 10th grade.

Personal Life of Stephen Curry

Curry married Ayesha Alexandre, a Toronto native and a longtime girlfriend on the 30th of July, 2011. They have three children together. Furthermore, they reside in Alamo, California. Seth, Curry’s younger brother, is also a professional basketball player. Additionally, his younger sister plays volleyball at Elon University.

Christianity is the religion of Curry, and he is very outspoken about his religion. He often speaks about faith. Furthermore, he talked about Christianity during the MVP speeches. Additionally, there is a lace loop that has “4:13” written in it. Curry uses this lace loop. Furthermore, Curry is also an investor in a Christian Sports apparel brand, Active Faith.
Apart from basketball, Curry is an avid golfer in high school. He plays golf with Andre Iguodala, who is his teammate. Furthermore, he also participates in various celebrity golf tournaments.
