In 2004, she appeared in the teen comedy film ‘Mean Girl’ as Karen Smith alongside Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Lizzy Caplan, and others. The film hit a huge box office hit and increased Amanda’s popularity. The same year she auditioned for the TV series ‘Veronica Mars.’ Though she didn’t land the leading role, she was cast as the title character’s best friend, Lilly Kane.
