Bernie Mac was an American comedian, actor, and voice actor who actively worked in the entertainment industry from 1977 to 2008. He was known for his humor in standup comedies which also made him very popular and famous. This actor loved acting and comedy at the age of eight which led him to join this field. Likewise, he is also well-known for his show ‘The Bernie Mac Show’ which earned him various awards and nominations. He had also played in various movies and series where he has shared the screen with famous celebrities. Sadly, this famous personality passed away when he was 50 years old. To date, he is remembered as one of the best comedians in the industry.

Bernie Mac’s real name was Bernard Jeffrey McCullough. He was born on 5 October 1957 in Chicago, Illinois, United States. His parents are Jeffrey Harrison and Mary McCullough. Mac was the second child who had an elder brother. They were raised by his single mother who died of cancer when he was 16 years old. Additionally, he belonged to a Libra star sign.

Bernie Mac attended Chicago Vocational High School in Chicago. He then moved to Tampa and joined Jesuit High School. Likewise, he then enrolled at Chicago Vocational and graduated in 1975. Since his family passed away when he was quite small, he took odd jobs for his living.
