Brandon was born to Donald and Joann Ingram, as Brandon Xavier Ingram. He was born with the birth sign Virgo. He grew up with his half-siblings; Donovan. His brother Donovan taught him to play basketball. Besides, Brandon holds an American nationality. With the height of 6 feet 7 inches and weight about 190 lb, he has been able to maintain his body fit.

High School and College Career

Firstly, Brandon attended Kinston High School along with his brother. During high school, he played for the school team. Besides, while he was a kid he played for the brother’s basketball team. Also, he had an excellent performance. Furthermore, for his school team, he led the school to win the state championship in all four years. Also, in 2015, he became one of the best high school prospects and was rated as a five-star recruit.

He debuted in the Blue Devils against the game with Florida Southern following Livingstone. Furthermore, his outstanding performance led him to win the ACC Rookie of the Year. Also, he became on the list of AP All-American Team and All-ACC Second team.

Brandon Ingram’s professional career started after the Los Angeles Lakers selected him among the top three picks as the second overall player. After being selected, on August 23, 2016, he signed his rookie year and played professionally for the first time from the Lakers against the Houston Rockets. Brandon completed the session with the record of an average of 4 rebounds with 9.4 points per game. Also, he was selected to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team in 2016.

Also, he appeared in the NBA ALl-Star Weekend. Sadly, he went through the groin injury in March 2018, which made him miss the twelve games. Later, returning back, he played a total of 59 games with an average of 5.3 rebounds along with 3.9 assists and 16.1 points in each game. On July 6, 2019, Lakers traded Brandon to the New Orleans Pelicans.
