Pamela Anderson is a professional Canadian-American actress. She is also a model and animal rights activist. She has appeared in several covers of magazines and is famous for her roles in series like Home Improvement, Baywatch, and V.I.P. Pamela was born on the 1st of July, 1967 in Ladysmith, British Columbia, Canada, as the name Pamela Denise Anderson.

Pamela is the daughter of Barry and Carol Anderson. Her father was a furnace repairman and her mother was a waitress. Furthermore, Pamela has a Russian ancestry as well. She was covered by some press right after her birth as she was the “Centennial Baby” who was born on the 100th anniversary of Canada’s official founding via the Constitution Act, 1867.

Anderson publicly revealed being sexually abused as a child. She was molested by a female babysitter while she was 6 years old and raped by a 25-year-old man when she was just 12 years old. Furthermore, she also revealed she was gang-raped by her boyfriend and the other six when she was just 14. She moved to Vancouver in 1988 and worked as a fitness instructor.

Career

Anderson was discovered at a Canadian football game in 1989. She then got an offer from Playboy and appeared in five issues of the magazine. She became Playmate of the Month in February of 1990 issue. Pamela modelled with Playboy magazine for almost 22 years, which is the longest time than any other model in the history of Playboy.

Anderson then went on to pursue an acting career. She started with a minor role in the ABC comedy series Home Improvement. She played the role of Lisa for two seasons and then left the show. Later, she got the role of C.J. Parker on Baywatch and played the role for five seasons between 1992 and 1997. People consider her role in Baywatch as one of her best roles. Anderson starred in her first film role in Raw Justice. Furthermore, she appeared in the film Barb Wire in 1996.
