He is a son to his mother, Einar who served as a social worker, and to his father, Rheon Tomos who served as an accountant. Besides, he grew up along with her younger brother to Aled Rheon. The actor’s family moved to Cardiff when he was five years old and got him enrolled in the Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf. He started acting at the age of 17 in the drama school productions. Then, he went to attend the National Eisteddfod of Wales which he continued by studying in the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

The actor started his acting career in the teenage at 17. He had started his career by playing in the theatre.
