Los Angeles rams

A professional American football, the Los Angeles Rams, is based in Los Angeles, California. As a member club of the National Football Conference (NFC) West division, the Rams compete in the National Football League (NFL). Furthermore, the club is the only one to win championships representing three different cities and has won three NFL Championships, Cleveland in 1945, Los Angeles in 1951, and St. Louis in 1999. They play their home games at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

As the Cleveland Rams, based in Cleveland, Ohio, the franchise began in 1939. Moreover, the club that featured players like William “Bud” Cooper, Stan Pincura, Mike Sebastian, and Harry “The Horse” Mattos, the club is owned by the Homer Marshman. As a general manager, Damon “Buzz,” Wetzel joined later.

In 1946, the franchise moved to Los Angeles following the victory of the 1945 NFL Championship Game, making way for Paul Brown’s Cleveland Browns. They were the only NFL championship team to play the following season in another city. The club previously played their home gamed at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, and later to Anaheim Stadium in Orange Country in 1980.

The Rams moved to St. Louis, Missouri, and won the Super Bowl XXXIV in 23-16 victory over the Tennessee Titans. Then they lost 20-17 to the England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXVI. Until the end of the 2015 NFL season, they filed a notice with the NFL of their intent to move back to Los Angeles, which the move was agreed in January 2016 at an owners’ meeting. Furthermore, for the 2016 NFL season, they returned to the city.
