Michael Folmer was elected as a Democrat in Lebanon City and was the highest scorer of votes at the time. At the City Council, Michael worked as the Director of Public Safety including managing and enforcing the municipal codes. Later he left the public service after his time limits and held jobs in the private sectors. Meanwhile, Michael successfully became a Republican and organized the Constitutional Organization of Lebanon along with the locals of the area.
Michael was one of the tough challenges in the 2006 election. Chip Brightbill represented Michael’s district. Besides, Michael defeated Democrat John Liss in the general election with over 63% vote.
