Minnesota United FC was a Minneapolis-Saint Paul area, in Minnesota based American professional soccer team. The team was founded in 2010 as NSC Minnesota. Later, it was hence changed to Minnesota Stars FC. The team hence played in the North American Soccer League (NASL), which is a professional league of the United States Soccer Federation. Minnesota is hence the winners of the 2011 NASL championship.
Major League Soccer hence announced an expansion franchise to the Twin Cities on the 25th of March, 2015. The group hence began playing in 2017 under the ownership of McGuire.
Stadium
Minnesota hence played on the National Sports Center, Blaine for the 2010-12 season, 2013 Spring Season Finale, Fall Season and the 2014 season. They hence played on the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, Minneapolis on season openers and also the 2013 spring season. They hence played on the TCF Bank Stadium, Minneapolis for a game in 2014. A new soccer stadium is hence being planned to be made in the midway area of Saint Paul.
Rivalries of the club
A rivalry was hence formed between the then-Stars and FC Edmonton during the 2011 NASL season which is hence known as the Flyover Cup.

Mascot
The club’s mascot is hence a loon named PK. They hence wear the team jersey and soccer shoes. It was hence unveiled in July of 2014. The mascot is hence called as Foot Foot by the fans.
