Ramona Shelburne, an American sportswriter and NBA Insider for ESPN, was born on July 19, 1979, in Los Angeles, California, US. The grown-up in the West Hills neighbourhood of Los Angeles, Ramona is the daughter of James Shelbourne and his wife Jeanette Shelburne, who was a teacher and also a screenwriter mostly for the animated children’s TV shows and a member of Writers Guide of America. Ramona was enrolled in the EI Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills from where was a graduate in 1997. She also received a bachelor’s degree in American Studies at Stanford University and he also got a master’s degree in Communication.

Ramona started her career as a reporter and anchor since her university days. She was an Academic All-American three times from 1998 to 2001. Ramona had participated in both the NCCA tournament and Women’s College World in the 1998 season and 2001 season respectively. Moreover, Ramona also worked for Los Angeles Daily News before working for ESPN. She was a softball teammate at her university along with the baseball analyst Jessica Mendoza. Ramona also got to play in the 1998 NCCA tournament. She also worked as a columnist and reporter for seven years from 2002-2009.
Moreover, she also made her TV debut through “Beadle & Shelburne”, a national radio show, on February 14, 2016. She also co-hosted the show along with the Michelle Beadle, ESPN Sports Nation host. Presently, Ramona is working as an NBA Insider and a sportswriter for ESPN.
