Roselyn Sanchez, a Puerto Rican singer/songwriter, model, actress, producer, and writer, was born on April 2, 1973, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Born as the daughter of Efrain Sanchez, and his wife Olga Rodriguez, Roselyn holds a Puerto Rican nationality, and an ethnicity Hispanic. She is born with the birth sign Aries.  With the height of 5 feet 5 inches (1.65 m) and weight about 55 kg, Roselyn has been able to maintain her body fit and healthy.

Roselyn grew up in her hometown only, along with her three older brothers. Roselyn, for her primary education, went to San Juan. For her studies in marketing, she enrolled at the University of Puerto Rico, where she left after three years she left. Also, moving to New York City in 1991, at the age of 18, she took dancing and acting classes.

Career

Roselyn started her acting career debuting in the American comedy film “Captain Ron”, in 1992. Later, after the movie, she got many other opportunities to be in the films. In 1999, she featured as Triana in American comedy film “Held Up”, following her appearance in 2001 in the comedy movie “Rush Hour 2”. In 2002, she made her appearance in two movies: “Boat Trip’, and “Nightstalker”. Further, she had played in 2003 alongside Jaci Velasquez and Sofia Vergara, in the movie “Chasing Papi”. Her acting appearance was seen in more than 20 movies, including “Edison” as Maria, and “Underclassmen” as Karen Lopez. She also starred in “Cayo” in 2005.

Moreover, her musical recording, “Borinquena” was released in 2003. Her first single album “Amor Amor” was a hit and also made her to the nomination for Best Music Video. Besides, she had an appearance in music videos like “hidden Agenda”, “personnel”, and “make Me Better”.
