Sam Claflin made his small screen debut in 2010 miniseries ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ as Richard of Kingsbridge. He was then featured in a post-apocalyptic telefilm titled ‘The Lost Future’ and in the PBS miniseries ‘Any Human Heart’ as a junior Logan Mountstuart.

The next year he was again featured in miniseries ‘White Heat’ where he appeared in six episodes. He also did a television film named ‘Mary and Martha’ as Ben in 2013. He then took a long gap from TV series and appeared in the 2019 period crime drama TV series ‘Peaky Blinders’ as Oswald Mosley.

Film

He featured in the 2012 fantasy film ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ as William.  Thereafter, in 2013 he was featured in ‘The Hunger Games’ as Finnick Odair. He shared screen space with actors like Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, and Liam Hemsworth amongst others. Likewise, the sequel of this film series was released in 2014 and 2015 ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1’ and ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2’ respectively where he reprised his role of hunk Odair.

In 2017, he played in the movie ‘My Cousin Rachel’ as Philip Ashely and as Captain Stanhope in the movie Journey’s End.
