Who is Shawn Mendes?

Shawn Mendes is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and model. He was born on August 8, 1998, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He was born to Karen and Manuel Mendes. Shawn grew up with his younger sister Aaliyah. He was born with the birth sign Leo. Shawn holds an American nationality. With the height of 6 feet 2 inches and weight about 80 kg, he has been able to maintain his body fit, along with the body measurement 38-31-14. Likewise, his dark brown eyes and hair make him look more attractive.

This is the time, Shawn signed his first single, “The Life of The Party”. Shawn was one of the Vine members of “Magcon Tour”, with numerous followers.

Furthermore, Shawn released his debut full-length album in 2015, named Handwritten. This came at number one on Billboard 200. The third single from the album, “Stitches” gained the top position in the UK. Also, 106,000 copies of the album were sold. Moreover, he also recorded “Believe” for the movie “Descendants”. Also, Shawn was listed as the top 25 influential teens for the years 2014 and 2015. Also, in 2016, he was on the list of “30 under 30”.

In early 2016, Shawn dealt a contract with “Wilhelmina models”. Also, as the lead singer, Shawn released his second album “Illuminate”. He, by this album, showed a new direction to the soft classic rock groove. His song from the album, named Mercy made to the top 20 list in both the US and the UK. Likewise, he released a music video “Nothing is Holdin’ Me Back” in 2017, where an actor Ellie Bamber featured.

Also, Shawn collaborated with Camila Cabello, and made a duet “I Know What You Did Last Summer”. Furthermore, Shawn released “Holdin Me Back” for his Illuminate Deluxe Edition.
