The next year, she appeared in a romantic comedy-drama film ‘Goodbye, Columbus’ where she portrayed the role of Brenda Patimkin opposite Richard Benjamin. This role earned her Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. Likewise, in 1970 she featured in a romantic drama film ‘Love Story’ where she played Jennifer Cavalleri.
