Anna Camp’s professional acting career began with a role in the play ‘Columbinus’ in 2005. Her popularity grew as she played the role of Jill Mason in the 2008 revival of ‘Equus’ at the Broadway Theatre. Likewise, she made her debut big-screen appearance in 2007 film ‘And Then Came Love’ as Kikki with a small role. After appearing in many small roles she finally made a lead role in the second season of the HBO horror series ‘True Blood’ as Sarah Newman. This series was based on the novel series named ‘The Southern Vampire Mysteries’ by Charlaine Harris. It was about a telepathic waitress who falls in love with a vampire, and how she struggles in a world where vampires demand equal rights and this show ran from 2008 to 2014. It earned a positive response from the critics which earned her many awards and nominations.
During that time she also featured in many movies like ‘8 Easy Steps’ in 2009, ‘The Help’ as Jolene in 2011, ‘Forgetting the Girl’ in 2012, and many more.
