Devontae Cacok is an American competitive basketball player. He is a free agent. He was born on October 8, 1996, in Chicago, Illinois. Devontae was born to Harry and Rose Lewis Cacok. He grew up in Riverdale Georga. He started playing football as a youth on the offensive line. Devontae holds an American nationality. With the height of 6  feet 7 inches and weigh about 109 kg, he has been able to maintain his body fit.

School and College Career

Devontae attended Alpharetta High School. During his high school, in his senior years, he scored an average of 22 points along with 12 rebounds in each game, Moreover, he led his school team to win the regional title. 

After certifying from high school, he attended UNC Wilmington college. During his college, as a freshman, he scored an average of 3.3 points in each game. As a learner, he scored he recorded 12.2 points and 9.8 rebounds in each game. Furthermore, he became a CAA Defensive Player of the Year. Also, he got select to the Third Team All-CAA.

Later, UNC Wilmington waived to four starters and the coach  Kevin Keatts. Then, C.B. McGrath expanded his overall game. Devontae scored 17 points and 21 rebounds in the game against Elon with the 87-63 win, in February 2018. In the following match with the College of Charleston, he had a record of 29 points and 17 rebounds. After these two matches, he became the CBS Sports Player of the Week.

Furthermore, as a junior, Devontae scored 13.5 per game in Division I in rebounding. With a score of 17.8 points per game, he completed the eighth in the CAA. Likewise, third in field goal percentage with 58.8%. Also, he led the conference with 22 double-doubles and the second-most of any player in the country. Also, he became the First Team All-CAA. Similarly, he was named the First Team All-State by the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association.  Eventually, during his senior names, he became the Preseason First Team All-CAA.

Professional Career of Devontae Cacok

Devontae started his professional career signing an Exhibit 10 years contract with the Los Angeles Lakers for the 2019 NBA Summer League. Eventually, he left the Lakers on October 21, 2019.
