Early Life
Jack attended Bishop du Bourg High School, located in St. Louis, Missouri. He suffered from stuttering, so he used to be a quiet boy. However, he determined to overcome the challenge and was able to speak normally. Earlier, Jack developed an interest in computers. Also, he became a member of the school’s computer club and studied the available model of the IBM computers.

Jac started his career as a programmer. In 2000, he moved to Oakland, California, to boost his career. Using his dispatch software, he started a company to dispatch emergency services, taxis, couriers. Also, he developed an interest in short message communication services. Then, he became serious and started to create an idea so that he would update his friends about his status in real-time.
However, his company failed. Then, Jack struggled for the next few years and worked on freelancing for a living. Also, he went to massage therapy courses. During these days, Jack never forgot about the dream to create short message services. He proceeded towards Odeo, which was a directory and search destination website. This showed an interest in text messaging. Moreover, he attracted the co-founder of Odeo, Evan Williams, who was one of the company executives of Biz Stone, in his interest.
Eventually, in October 2006, Jack developed an Obvious Corporation, that gradually evolved into”Twitter” along with Biz Stone, Evan Williams, and other members of Odeo. Moreover, Jack developed a simple website, where a user could post short messages of 140 characters, or simply known as “tweets.” Meanwhile, Jack became the CEO of Twitter. However, in 2008, Evan Williams became the CEO, a track became the chairman of the board. Furthermore, the company, within five years of its founding, proliferated, as users sent 20 million tweets per day.
Likewise, in 2009, Jack teamed up with Jim McKelvey, a fellow entrepreneur, and computer science and formed a Square Inc. Jack is a CEO, and the company has become one of the fast-growing companies.
