They settled in the basement of a family friend’s home for about 18 months. His father then worked on a factory and earned $76 per week. His family lived in an inferior condition. Herjavec, too, worked various minimum wage jobs in the 1990s to support his family. He took roles such as delivering newspapers, retail salesman, waiting tables, and debt collection.
