Sasha began dancing just at the age of 13. Later, when he was 17 years old, he competed in the Australian Youth Latin Championships and won two times. In addition, he represented Australia at the World Latin Championships. Furthermore, he attended the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games closing ceremony. Then, he appeared in the Australian “Dancing With The Stars” second season. Moreover, he was the original cast member of Broadway production of Burn the Floor.

Farber appeared in season 14 as a troupe member. Subsequently, in season 17, he promoted to the professional dancer pairing with the Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, cast member of “Jersey Shore”. Despite having good scores and comments, the pair eliminated in the seventh week. Farber placed back for the following four seasons.
On March 8, 2016, for season 22, Farber paired with the actress Kim Fields as a pro. However, the pair knocked out on May 2, 2016, tying for the seventh place with Von Miller and Witney Carson. On season 23, Farber mated with Terra Jole, cast member of “Little Women: LA”. The pair eliminated finishing in 5th place on the tenth week. For season 24, he paired with Simone Biles, an Olympic artistic gymnast. Unfortunately, the pair got eliminate just a week before the finals.
For season 26, Farber paired with Tonya Harding, former Olympic figure skater, and finished in third place. Likewise, for season 27, he paired with Mary Lou Retton, Olympic gymnast, and finished in 9th place. Later, on season 28, he partnered with Ally Brooke, singer of “Fifth Harmony”. Furthermore, Farber also worked in a junior version of the show. He worked as a mentor of Scottie Pippen’s daughter Sophia Pippen and pro-Jake Monreal. They got eliminate in the third week.
Personal Life
Sasha Farber met Emma Slater in the show “Dancing with the Stars”. The pair then dated from 2011 to 2014. Later, in 2015, Sasha posted on the Instagram account making sure that he and Slater are back together. During a broadcast of “Dancing with the Stars”, Sasha proposed Slater after their dance performance together, on October 4, 2016. The couple then married on March 25, 2018.
