Tulane Green Wave Football
The Tulane Green Wave is the football team of Tulane University. They also play in American football sport. The Green Wave competes in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). In addition, they play as a member club of the American Athletic Conference (The American). Similarly, the current coach of the football team is Willie Fritz, and they played its home games in Yulman Stadium on its campus. Furthermore, the campus is situated in Uptown New Orleans since 2014. In addition, Tulane played home games in the Louisiana Superdome for nearly 40 seasons before that season.
Furthermore, The Yulman stadium has a capacity of 30,000 spectators and is constructed in such a way that it can be expanded.

The official mascot for the team was Riptide the Pelican which, in addition, debuted in 1998 with the re-branding of Tulane athletics. The school used an angry wave nicknamed “Gumby” by fans before that, and a John Chase creation named “Greenie” before that. The official colours for the team are Olive Green and Sky Blue. The Olive and the Blue is the fight song used by the team.
