College Career
Zach first went to Bothell High School in Bothell, Washington. He there played as a primary ball-handler. He stood the height of 6 feet 3 inches by his junior year. Later, as a senior, he averaged 3.4 rebounds, 28.5 points, and 2.5 assists per game. Also, Zach was named as the 2013 Associated Press Washington state player of the year.
Later, Zach attended UCLA and played for the 2013 season. However, after his coach was resigned, he enrolled in the University of Washington.

During UCLA, he played basketball for one season in 2013, before declaring for the NBA draft. He started his professional basketball player in July 2014 by signing his rookie scale contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves. In the beginning, he played off the bench. However, he got injured by the Wolves’ regular starter.
Later, for the franchise from 2015 to 2017, he broke the records with his winning streaks. Also, he won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest twice. Moreover, he became the MVP for Team USA, in the Rising Star Challenge.
