School and College Career
Firstly, Karl attended Theodore Schor Middle School in 2009. Then, he attended Lake Nelson Seventh-Day Adventist School. He attended many schools. Eventually, he started to play basketball at St. Joseph High School. Meanwhile, he led the school team to a state championship and also earned a top position in the ESPN list. The Minnesota Timberwolves chose Karl for the 2015 NBA Draft. In October, he appeared for the first time against the game with Los Angeles Lakers. Eventually, in November, he received the Western Conference Rookie of the Month award. He became the 7th Timberwolves player to receive the title. Against the game with Utah Jazz, he hit 12 rebounds and 32 points and became the youngest player to make such a record.
Meanwhile, in February, for the 4th time in a row, he won the Western Conference Rookie of the Month award. By the completion of the rookie, he won the Western Conference Rookie Month for six times. Also, he won the NBA All-Rookie First Team honors, the NBA Rookie of the Year honors, including many others.

By the end of 2016/17 season, he made a record of 2061 points, along with 1007 rebounds and 100 three-pointers, and became the only player to have such records.
