Born on 28 May 1975 in Liverpool, Merseyside, England, he was a mix of Indian origin and Liverpool origin. His father was the Indian sea capital from Agra while his mother is from Liverpool. His mother and father name is Joan Bradshaw and Hyder Jaffrey. Raza’s schooling was done at Dulwich College with fellow Spooks actor Rupert Penry-Jones from 1986 to 1991. Raza spent his childhood in London.
After leaving Dulwich college, he joined drama at Manchester University while he studied acting at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. After this, his plan was to join Royal Air Force to become a pilot.
