D23 expo 2019

D23, The Official Disney Fan Club, is the club for The Walt Disney Company. It basically formed in 2009 and mainly renowned for its biennial exposition event, the D23 Expo. The letter D stands for Disney, and 23 for the year 1923. This was when the company  Walt Disney found.

Membership comprises Disney 23, gifts annually, merch, exclusive, and discount and early approach to the D23 Expo fan convention.

The D23 Expo occurs every year, and this is the Ultimate Fan Event where Disney puts on a big shindig for its most ardent supporters. The company reveals information about their upcoming movies, creators talk at the panels.

Now as per year, the D23 Expo 2019 is holding at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

The first day of the show is expected to have news about Disney+, which is the new streaming service coming to the platform. Expectation about D23 is the Star Wars: The Last Skywalker that is coming up in the year.

When did D23 Expo 2019 start?

The D23 Expo 2019 kicked off from August 23 to August 23, i.e. from Friday to Sunday. It kicked off with the Chairman and CEO of the Walt Disney Company and Bob Iger honouring the next class of Disney Legends. Also, Marvel was well represented with Robert Downey, Jon Favreau, and Jr. Ming Na Wen for their achievements, and contributions throughout the careers.

On August 24, Kit Harington’s landed in the MCU. The New York Times’ Kit Buchanan also tweeted that the well-known character Jon Snow will be joining ETERNALS as a non-Eternal, Dane Whitman, who is known as Black Knight. Also, there was the revelation of the Black Widow.

Marvel has announced that Kat Dennings, Teyonah Parris, Randall Park, and Kathryne Hahn will be joining the cast of Wandavision. This reports the half-retro comedy and the other half MCU epic. Furthermore, the other MCU characters might be coming to D23. Besides, at the expo on Phase 4 banner, there were The Celestial and the Watcher.

There came a piece of interesting news that Ms Marvel Disney+ show may come soon and also a new role of the Kit Harington (famous from Game of Thrones) in the MCU, which has been quite suspicious at the time of D23 Expo. Disney confirmed that the new series named Obi-Wan Kenobi is coming, on the Star Wars front.

In conclusion, Marvel has revealed many contents of Disney+ at San Diego Comic-Con. However, there are many guesses that D23’s panel will be focusing on the streaming platform’s other shows.
