Who is Richard Schiff?

Richard Schiff, an American actor, and comedian was born on May 27, 1955, in Bethesda, Maryland, US. Born as a son of Edward Schiff, who was a real estate lawyer, and his wife Charlotte Schiff, who was a television and publishing executive, Richard holds an American nationality and white ethnicity. He has two siblings and his one of the brother Paul Schiff is also a television producer. He attended the City College of New York but dropped out before graduation.

Career

Richard, first started his career, working as a director by directing several off-Broadway plays like “Antigone” in 1983. He started his acting in the mid-80s and did several roles before landing a role in the TV series “The West Wing”, as a White House Communications Director Toby Zieglar. He played as a lawyer in “Se7en” in 1995. The following year, he portrayed in “City Hall” as a role of corrupt probation sharing the screen with John Cusack and AI Pacino. The Showtime series “House of Lies”, along with Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell, Richard is well known for this. He also played in the recurring role in “Once Upon A Time”, TV series.

Moving on, in 2012 and 2013, Richard played the role of George Aaronow in a “Glengarry Glen Ross”. Also, he appeared in the HBO comedy-drama “Ballers”, as a Dwayne Johnson’s character boss. He also had an in “The First”, as a role of David Hertzberg. At present, Richard is seen in “The Good Doctor”, the hit ABC medical drama. Mor4eover, he appeared as the lead role Dr. Aaron Glassmna in the Antonia Thomas, Chuku Modu, Freddie Highmore, and Beau Garrett starrer TV series since 2017. The series second season completed successfully in March 2019. The third season will be aired in September 2019, the series which is based on the award-winning South Korean eponymous series.
