He has also performed the play ‘The Spoils’ as Kalyan in 2015 and 0216 at The Pershing Square Signature Center in the US and Trafalgar Studios in the UK.

Kunal Nayyar landed his debut acting role in TV series in 2007 ‘NCIS’ as Youssef Zidan, an Iraqi terrorist. The same year, he landed his leading role of Rajesh Koothrappali in a television sitcom ‘The Big Bang Theory’. The other main characters of the strings were Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Sara Gilbert, Mayim Bialik, Melissa Rauch, Kevin Sussman, and Laura Spencer. He is also known as Raj, who is an astrophysicist in the Physics Department at Caltech. This series ran till 2019.
